London Bus Services over Christmas and New Year 2013-14

The table below shows the general pattern of service for TfL bus services and Tramlink; there may be some exceptions. Please note that this information does not apply to routes operated on LSP conditions. Information concerning route K50 is included on the K50 timetable.

Night services are shown before the corresponding day service, in line with the normal conventions on this site. Note that these apply to N-prefix night routes only precise arrangements for 24-hour routes vary, some following the day pattern at night and others the night pattern. Some day routes may have alterations to early and late journeys to co-ordinate with night routes.

Tuesday 24 DecemberNormal Monday night/Tuesday morning service. A Saturday service will operate, with the following exceptions:
Routes 507 and 521 operate a reduced service.
Route X68 operates a normal Monday to Friday service.
Route 969 operates a normal Tuesday service.
Certain other routes will have an enchanced early morning service. (94 120 W7)
Tramlink will operate a reduced frequency during the evening - every 25 minutes on lines 1 and 2 and every 20 minutes on line 3.
Last journeys on 24 hour routes will generally be just after midnight on 25 December.
Wednesday 25 DecemberNo service.No service.
Thursday 26 DecemberNo service.A normal Sunday service will operate on most routes this year. First buses on 24 hour routes will generally run by 06:00. Some routes may have special timetables (particularly Go-Ahead London); those known are listed below. Details, where known, including 24 hour start times, are also included on individual HTML route timetables, although these are not infallible. Note that the correct times have not been loaded into the TfL journey planner.

Friday 27 DecemberNormal weeknight service. A Saturday service will operate, with the following exceptions:
Routes 507 and 521 operate a reduced service.
Route X68 operates a normal Monday to Friday service.
Routes 931, 965 and 969 operate a normal Friday service.

Saturday 28 DecemberNormal Friday night/Saturday morning service. Normal Saturday service.
Sunday 29 DecemberNormal Saturday night/Sunday morning service. Normal Sunday service.
Monday 30 DecemberNormal Sunday night/Monday morning service. A Saturday service will operate, with the following exceptions:
Routes 507 and 521 operate a reduced service.
Route X68 operates a normal Monday to Friday service.
Route 965 operates a normal Monday service.

Tuesday 31 DecemberNormal Sunday night/Monday morning service. A Saturday service will operate, with the following exceptions:
Routes 507 and 521 operate a reduced service.
Route X68 operates a normal Monday to Friday service.
Route 969 operates a normal Tuesday service.
Certain other routes will have an enchanced early morning service. (94 120 W7)
From about 1700 buses are diverted or curtailed in central London owing to road closures. Route 388 will operate only between Stratford City and Liverpool Street after 1600, and route 507 will not operate after 1900.
Wednesday 1 JanuarySaturday night/Sunday morning service. Until about 0300 buses in central London will be diverted or curtailed owing to road closures. A full list and map is on the TfL website. A better map showing route numbers was in the TfL leaflet from 2011 which is still available, but note that routes 113 and 135 will not operate this year.

Additionally, a number of suburban routes will run through the night to connect with rail services, and some other 24 hour services will be enhanced. Tramlink will operate every 30 minutes between Wimbledon and New Addington and between Wimbledon and Beckenham Junction. Some of the extra night services finish significantly before the regular day service begins check timetables below or TfL journey planner.
